Monika Stobiecka graduated from the Institute of History of Art and Institute of Archaeology, University of Warsaw. She is a winner of the 2014 Diamond Grant awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and a doctoral student at the Faculty of Artes Liberales, University of Warsaw. There, she participates in the pioneering programme The Culture-Nature Nexus, studying the status of archaeological artefacts within museum spaces. Stobiecka has collaborated with the Museum of Modern Art, Foksal Gallery and the National Museum in Warsaw. Currently, Monika is working on an exhibition addressing the Zakopanesque style at the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław. Fellow of the Lanckoronski Foundations. Her scholarly interests encompass issues relating to archaeological museology and theory of archaeology, the geological shift in archaeology, and the style of Zakopane, in its aesthetic, political and landscape-related aspects (→list of publication).
